"I think we have a hell of a lot more control over our happiness than we give ourselves credit for. If you’re struggling with finding happiness in your life, stop waiting for it find you. Find it yourself. Stop allowing yourself to feel sad at night. If you notice that a blog on tumblr has been feeding negative thoughts into your mind, unfollow it. I don’t care if they were once your favorite blog or if they’re one of your friends, unfollow it. Throw away the memories that are holding you back, allow yourself to create new memories. And you won’t create those memories by staying inside every single night. Go out. Live. Having problems with your friends? Talk to them about it. Your friends are still being assholes? Push yourself to get new friends, you deserve people in your life that aren’t dicks. Wake up early and blast music that makes you happy. Sing and dance in the morning, it will make you a lot more excited for the day. Stop telling yourself that school sucks, even if it does. Find one good thing about school, and focus on that. And stop telling yourself that you hate everybody, loving everybody feels better. Plus, everyone hates everybody nowadays. Be too cool to be negative. Be different, be positive.
And please, stop believing that happiness will come from the number of followers you have on social media, believe me, that’ll have the opposite affect."

"For a star to be born, there is one thing that must happen: a gaseous nebula must collapse.

So collapse.
Crumble.
This is not your destruction.

This is your birth."

"You cannot rely upon what you have been taught. All you have learned from history is old ways of making mistakes. There is nothing that history can tell you about what we must do tomorrow. Only what we must not do."
